Kate Gosselin Steps Out With Her $7000 Extensions

Braving the chilly winter weather, Kate Gosselin was spotted hitting up her local Target store in Reading, Pennsylvania today (January 8).

The former “Jon and Kate Plus 8” babe continued to keep her new hairdo under wraps as she strolled past the paparazzi and headed inside.



And according to hairstylist Ted Gibson, who architected Kate’s new look, Ms. Gosselin’s tresses would run somewhere in the neighborhood of $7,000.

“My haircuts are $950. The color would have been about $500, and the extensions, which were great length extensions, would probably cost about $5000. We were together for about 20 hours and I would say 15 of those hours were working on Kate trying to convince her to cut her bangs. I felt like she was hiding behind that front piece.”

“I wanted to make sure I took her from being really ordinary to really extraordinary! The little short bits in the back, we called them her ‘attitude’ and getting rid of those took a long time!”
