The bride, the co-host of Celebrity Apprentice and a vice president at her father's real estate company, and her new husband, who is the publisher of the New York Observerand an executive at the Kushner Companies, released few photos and kept most of the details of their wedding private. Donald Trump told PEOPLE he offered a simple toast to the couple: "Be happy and enjoy your life."
The newlyweds, who are planning to honeymoon in Africa, did spend most of the night dancing. "It was a great wedding," said the father-of-the-bride. "I'm very happy. They're really a beautiful, smart couple. I think you'll hear a lot of great things from them in the years to come."
And what's a great wedding without an "absolutely superb" cake? "The cake was amazing and just beautiful. It was 70 inches on the table with about 13 layers," described the cake-maker Sylvia Weinstock. "Each layer was ringed with flowers. We had lisianthus, roses, peonies, Lilies of the Valley, baby's breath – all in the coloring of whites, creams, pinks ivory and flush tones."
As varied as the sugar decor was the flavor of the cake. "They had several flavors. They had chocolate, carrot, almond and yellow cake all in the multiple layered cake," said Weinstock. "They had some 500 people so they wanted a variety."
